Frankfurt Ginkgo Open 2024

The Shogi Club Frankfurt hosts a tournament on 2 days with 7 rounds.

Tournament Mode: Open tournament, 7 rounds in MacMahon or Swiss system.
The organiser reserves the right to reduce the number of rounds during the tournament in case of time constraints.

Speed: 20 minutes + 40 seconds byoyomi

Rules: We follow the official FESA-Rules.
In the event of a fourth repetition of a position (Sennichte), the game is repeated with the right to start reversed. We apply Article 12 of the FESA Laws. If at least one player has more than 10 minutes on the clock, the time limit for the new game is is the remaining time of the players from the first game. Otherwise, a blitz game of 8 minutes without byoyomi (kiremake) per player will be played.

Main course 2: Chicken escalope with boiled potatoes or basmati rice
Main course 3: Minced meatballs in tomato salsa
Dessert: Vanilla yoghurt

Sunday
Appetiser: Mixed salad
Main course 1: Pasta and vegetable casserole (vegetarian)
Main course 2: Vegetable pan (vegetarian)
Main course 3: Goulash with roast potatoes
Dessert: Fruit
