Games in the Blitz Tournament are played with a time control of 8 minutes sudden death, without byoyomi. In these fast-paced games, not only shogi skills over the board but also time management are important.

- Time control: 8 minutes per player (no byoyomi)
- Entry fee: 10€ (before June 1st) / 15€ (from June 1st)
